Actor in the Audience Icons

This is a fanmix I made to accompany my fic, which is also entitled "These Accidents of Faith." It seems a bit self-serving of me to make a mix for my own writing, but I wanted to compile a number of songs that I used as background to write the story in addition to songs that remind me of the pairing Draco/Luna. Excerpts from the fic are included to accompany each song, so there are of course SPOILERS for the fic in question. The snippets do give you at least an outline of what happens in the story, but I hope that the two pieces can be enjoyed separately or together.

This was definitely a labor of love on all fronts, and I truly hope you enjoy one or both of the components. Individual uploads available upon request.

Also, yes, there is a purpose to the bonus tracks, but for that, you have to read the whole fic. ^.~

First of all, this uploaded on my first try at YouTube. That's never happened before, and I have this feeling it never will again.

This is by far my favorite song by Megan McCauley, and I was so excited when I got this idea for an AMV. I think the lyrics, particularly the refrain, fit my understanding of Usagi perfectly. She may be one of if not the most powerful force in the galaxy, but she has so much vulnerability and, dare I say it, fragility. I don't always consider myself the biggest Usagi fan, but making this video made me fall in love with her all over again.

I originally planned on making this an episodic video for "Romance under the Moon! Usagi's First Kiss!" but I decided there wasn't really enough footage. So this is just a little something I threw together, mostly so they could dance during the instrumental waltz-y parts. Set to "You Are the Moon" by The Hush Sound.

I've had a video set to "Thriller" by Michael Jackson featuring the various MOTDs of Sailor Moon in mind for a couple years now. The recent death of Michael Jackson pushed me to putting it together. I definitely think it's my best effort thus far, and I hope you all agree!

Most of the clips are from the first season since that's the series that actually had even moderately frightening MOTDs. There's also a good chunk from the R and S movies and seasons, and very little from the SuperS and Stars seasons. You know how ridiculous those guys looked.

I've recently taken to starting up new playlists with songs that remind me of characters/pairings on the off-chance I ever make a fanmix for them. I'd snagged two or three songs for a Rei/Jadeite mix, when I happened to notice that all of the song titles had the word "kiss" in them. And then I decided, "Dude, that would be an awesome idea for a fanmix!" So it is what I did. Six songs, all with a variation of the word "kiss" in the title, and all a bit violent because this is Rei and Jadeite we're talking about. ;)

All of these feature Aino Minako/Sailor Venus and were made for bssm_speedmix, but since the maintainers have all but vanished off the face of the Earth, I decided to go ahead and post these.  If this becomes a problem in the future... well, we'll cross-stitch that bridge when we come to it. ^.~

These are all featuring the same image/manip, so they're really more of a set.  I'm a huge fan of this pairing and fully expect to make more graphics for them.  I'm already working on a fanmix too!  Lyrics featured in the graphics are from "Winter Sun" by Dishwalla.  I'll be making this my layout very shortly, so feel free to have a look-see in a few minutes to see it in action.

I've wanted to make this video since I first heard the song "Lemon" by Katy Rose and pretty much immediately linked it with Minako. I think this is definitely my best effort yet, so I hope you all enjoy it!

And yes, I use a lot of footage from episode 42. Minako's London backstory is my absolute favorite BSSM episode, and one of my favorite aspects about the series.
